A few people have contacted me asking if I was still happy with my upgrade to Direct TV and I have to say that I am very impressed. I do my best not to sit in front of the tv all day but I do tend to watch more in the evening when I am getting closer to my normal bedtime. By far the most impressive thing about having the Satellite Directv service is the HD programming. There are a lot of options for shows to watch and if you have a great tv, it makes it that much better.

For those of you that are worried about the installation process, there is really nothing to worry about at all. There are many service companies that will come to your house and install the Direct TV Satellite dish for you if you aren’t handy enough to do it yourself. Luckily for me I had a couple of friends to come over and give me a hand so it wasn’t that difficult at all. A couple of my neighbors hired a guy to do theirs and they were up and running in a couple hours. My aunt and uncle are switching over this week and I suggest that you do the same if you are still on the fence about it all.

I have been a fan of Amazon for a long time but I recently decided to give Zappos.com a try. I had to get the little lady something nice for her birthday so I decided to grab her a nice Lucky Brand handbag that she has had her eye on for awhile. It seems that I made a good choice since she was extremely excited when she opened the gift. Finally I found her something that she didn’t want to return!

As far as Zappos goes, I can’t complain about these guys at all. The ordering was simple and the handbag arrived with no problem at all. I think I will try to find something for myself on their site since the handbag’s quality was excellent. That may just be unique to Lucky Brand but I know Zappos has a good reputation so I am not too worried either way.

I don’t know about many of you guys out there but I really love to play poker online. I link up with a few friends online each week to play for a few bucks.
